Let us tell you about our farm

At Rocky Hill Farm, we grow delicious food using ecologically responsible practices.

We raise high quality meat on Vermont pasture and grow certified organic vegetables using low-till, environmentally friendly practices that promote healthy soil and biodiversity. We view the farm as a living ecosystem that we steward to produce nutritious food from our family to yours.

Pasture-raised meat rabbits

We raise young fryer rabbits seasonally. They live on fresh pasture as soon as they’re weaned until slaughter day, around 14 weeks. During this time, they primarily eat a diverse buffet of vegetation and are supplemented with alfalfa pellet feed.

Our pasture-based system relies on access to fresh grass, therefore our production is limited and seasonal.

OUR PASTURE-BASED SYSTEM

We use a USDA-certified processor, so rabbit is available for wholesale to restaurants and grocers.

Organic vegetables

We’re a small-scale farm, growing on only 1/3 acre of permanent beds. This allows us to be human-powered and low-till.

We are committed to the preservation of agricultural biodiversity, and grow many varieties of all your favorite veggies.

We promote the establishment of native annuals and perennials which provide habitat for local wildlife, especially pollinators.

We are proud to be organic! We received our VOF organic certification in 2024!

We sell our produce at the Westford Farmers Market from July through September. We also sell wholesale to a number of local restaurants.
